Doctor Who Season 5

I just saw the last episode of Season 5. The episode was called 'The Big Bang', a part 2 episode with 'The Pandorica Opens' being part 1. The is truly a very good season for the new actor, Matt Smith playing the 11th Doctor but by far 'The Big Bang' being one of THE best episode tied with 'The Time of Angels' and 'Flesh and Stone'. A two part episode with a combo of Weeping Angels and River Song.

The final episode was great especially with the Darlek begging River Song for mercy as with the opening scene when the Pandorica opens up and the Doctor is not inside. But I could go on and write a book about this episode but over all the exception of 'Victory of the Teletubby Daleks' and Vincent and the Tissue Paper' I would personally give Season 5 an A-. And to thing most chat sites thought Omega was going to finaly show up in the final episode.

President Obama, Drug Cartel and Arizona

Mexican Gangs Maintain Permanent Lookout Bases in Hills of Arizona

Mexican drug cartels have set up shop on American soil, maintaining lookout bases in strategic locations in the hills of southern Arizona from which their scouts can monitor every move made by law enforcement officials, federal agents tell Fox News. The scouts are supplied by drivers who bring them food, water, batteries for radios -- all the items they need to stay in the wilderness for a long time.
“To say that this area is out of control is an understatement," said an agent who patrols the area and asked not to be named. "We (federal border agents), as well as the Pima County Sheriff Office and the Bureau of Land Management, can attest to that.”

Much of the drug traffic originates in the Menagers Dam area, the Vekol Valley, Stanfield and around the Tohono O’odham Indian Reservation. It even follows a natural gas pipeline that runs from Mexico into Arizona. In these areas, which are south and west of Tucson, sources said there are “cartel scouts galore” watching the movements of federal, state and local law enforcement, from the border all the way up to Interstate 8.
“Every night we’re getting beaten like a pinata at a birthday party by drug, alien smugglers," a second federal agent told Fox News by e-mail. "The danger is out there, with all the weapons being found coming northbound…. someone needs to know about this!” The agents blame part of their plight on new policies from Washington, claiming it has put a majority of the U.S. agents on the border itself. One agent compared it to a short-yardage defense in football, explaining that once the smugglers and drug-runners break through the front line, they're home free.
“We are unable to work any traffic, because they have us forward deployed," the agent said. "We are unable to work the traffic coming out of the mountains. That traffic usually carries weapons and dope, too, again always using stolen vehicles.” The Department of Homeland Security denies it has ordered any major change in operations or any sort of change in forward deployment. “The Department of Homeland Security has dedicated unprecedented manpower, technology and infrastructure resources to the Southwest border over the course of the past 16 months," DHS spokesman Matt Chandler said. "Deployment of CBP/Border Patrol and ICE personnel to various locations throughout the Southwest border is based on actionable intelligence and operational need, not which elected official can yell the loudest.”

While agents in the area agree that southwest Arizona has been a trouble spot for more than a decade, many believe Washington and politicians “who come here for one-day visit” aren’t seeing the big picture. They say the area has never been controlled and has suddenly gotten worse, with the cartels maintaining a strong presence on U.S. soil. More than ever, agents on the front lines are wearing tactical gear, including helmets, to protect themselves.

“More than 4,000 of these agents are deployed in Arizona," Chandler says. "The strategy to secure our nation’s borders is based on a 'defense in depth' philosophy, including the use of interior checkpoints, like the one on FR 85 outside Ajo, to interdict threats attempting to move from the border into the interior of our nation.” Without placing direct fault on anyone, multiple agents told Fox that the situation is more dangerous for them than ever now that the cartels have such a strong position on the American side of the border. They say morale is down among many who patrol the desolate area, and they worry that the situation won't change until an agent gets killed.

Nostradamus effect

I watched a show about Nostradamus on TV and I just have to make this comment just to get it out of my system. Usually I’m not very religious but listening to so called experts try to explain things in a secular way almost like dumbing down stupidity to an idiots level. The topic of discussion was about the final days on Earth. Using the Christian Bible it states in the New Testament about the tongue was like a sword as another part describes the breath as fire. Hence the flaming sword that keeps Man (both man & woman) from God is nothing more than the word of God being spoken.

So in the final day of Man, the day of Armageddon as many Christians believe, when the chosen are carried up into the sky to be saved as the world is destroyed by fire is nothing more, in my opinion, as the day when the world of Man is cleansed by the word of God and restored to its proper place.  A day when the over 400 denominations of Christianity and countless other religions with even the atheist and secular people will try to control and prevent Armageddon from happening. Armageddon by biblical standards is the destruction of what fallen Man has created such as their lifestyle and ways of life that contradicts Heavens law. Armageddon will not be the destruction of the planet similar to the Hollywood movie 2012.

For that matter, the Christian form of Hell is not a place of eternal fire with people burning but a place totally void of ‘the word of God’. If someone is condemned to Hell they cannot bring themselves to come before God or anyone who is close to God for ‘God’s Love’ or ‘The word of God’ is like a barrier to them. Someone who is in Hell cannot face this form of purity because of the sins they have committed while they were physically alive. Judgment Day is the day when one enters the spirit world and is judged by the life they have led.  An old story in when Jesus was on the cross, the thief on the right supported Jesus. Jesus told this thief that he will go to Paradise. Once the thief died he went to Paradise but couldn’t stay even though Jesus welcomed him. The thief had committed too much sin that his spirit body couldn’t handle being that close to God.

As with others, that person will feel pain throughout his whole spirit body and will go far as he can to ease that pain. A place where others live the way as when they were physically alive such as murderers, rapist, thieves and those who committed crimes too horrific to mention live as they please far from the Kingdom of Heaven as they continue to commit their sins onto one another. That is Hell, a place lacking Gods Love. The book, ‘A Wanderer in the Spirit Lands’ is a good introduction into life in Hell. About a person who goes to Hell and the restoration of himself so as to elevate his spirit to a higher plain closer to God.

Computer crashed

After updated Windows Critical Updated I restarted my computer to find out those updated help destroyed my computer. I took it to Best Buy and have the Geek Squad try and fix it. They informed me days later that all the hardware is in working order. But I have a major software problem due to one of those updates that may require a total lose of everything on the computer.

The computer was supposed to be ready on Saturday but as of Sunday night, they are still working on it. You never know what you have until you lost it. When I lose the use of my computer I found something even better. Watching TV in the next room away from two boys fight over with their mother to use the other computer. Peace and quiet.

Kid's say the darndest things

At one of my sons’ graduations events at school my wife and I learned a little too much about how our kids sees us. Not as much as in a bad way but more in line with a simple look at life through a kid eyes. The awards for his grade level were being held in the cafeteria/ auditorium. The place was pack with all the kids’ parents celebrating their child’s accomplishments and promotion to the next grade level.

As my son found us in the crowd we could see his beaming smile light up the room. He wanted to share his love with everyone so he acquired his classmates’ attention and proceeded to point us out of the crowd and proclaiming in a rather booming voice of our relationship with him.

And I quote. “There are my parents. I call him Daddy and I call her Mommy. They buy me lots of toys and DS games though not as nearly as much as I want but I still love them.”

NEW Thundercats TV show

Article here

Warner Brothers have announced that popular eighties cartoon ThunderCats is to be revived, and Japanese animation studio Studio 4°C has been tapped to animate the series.

Cartoon Network is set to air the series, and they are quick to cash in on the anime connection.

Sam Register, Cartoon Network’s Executive Vice President of Creative Affairs, was quoted as saying the series will be “Warner Bros. Animation’s first anime series,” conveniently forgetting that the original was also animated in Japan by Pacific Animation Corporation, which would go on to became Studio Ghibli.

Indeed, they lay it on quite thickly in their press releases:

Roaring to life through WBA and Studio4°C’s use of the Japanese animated artistry of anime, “ThunderCats” characters Lion-O, Mumm-Ra, Panthro, Cheetara and others will spring off the screen with realistic cat-like characteristics inconceivable in previous incarnations.

Studio 4°C already has strong ties with Warner Bros., as they are also working together on the anime adaptation of Halo.

An Old Sex Joke

During the Victorian Era in England, people were very conscious about exposing their bodies to the opposite sex. The men would wear a suit that covers him from his feet to his neck. Wearing long gloves as well as a rather large hat as to have very little part of his natural body exposed. The same went for the women. She would wear very long dress as her undergarments covering even all of her legs. Her gloves went from fitting onto her hands to fitting snuggly past her elbow as well as a having a large hat to cover her head and much of her face.

Even in the public libraries this setup was to make sure very little contact was taken place between a man and a woman. On one side of the library, all the books written by men were kept where as on the complete opposite side of the library all books written by women were placed here as well. This was done as to prevent a book, written by a female author from being placed on the side of the library where books written by the males were located at. For if this did happen would result in nine months later having created a short story.
