China invades Russia

State-owned channel Rossiya 24 even showed footage of a technician opening up an iron included in a batch of Chinese imports to find a "spy chip" with what he called "a little microphone". Its correspondent said the hidden devices were mostly being used to spread viruses, by connecting to any computer within a 200m (656ft) radius which was using unprotected Wi-Fi networks. Other products found to have rogue components reportedly included mobile phones and car dashboard cameras.

The report quoted one customs brokerage professional as saying the hidden chips had been used to infiltrate company networks, sending out spam without administrators' knowledge. News agency Rosbalt reports that while the latest delivery of appliances was rejected by officials, more than 30 devices had already been sent to retailers in St Petersburg.

Trojan Condoms

What company in their right mind would call their product Trojans?

During the Greek war, the Trojan horse entered through the city gates of Troy, broke open and loads of little guys came out and messed up everyone’s day.

America vs. India

A soap manufacturing company in America is making bathing soaps.

The soap blocks were made, then wrapped in a wrapping paper automatically on an assembly conveyor belt and finally packed into cartons.

Many times it would happen that the wrapping machine would wrap the paper without soap. i.e. you had an empty packet without soap.  To rectify this problem the company bought an x-ray scanner for $60,000 to check on the assembly line whether the container contained soap or was empty.

A similar problem happened at Nirma soaps, in Gujarat, India.

They bought a $30 fan and placed it on the edge of the assembly line.

The empty wrapper without soap inside just simply blew away!

Shaniya Davis Sold, Raped and Murdered for $200

5 year old Shaniya Davis - left / Antoinette Nicole Davis mother from hell on the right
Quote from Antoinette Nicole Davis "I never said I was a perfect mother, but I was a good mother."

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The mother of a 5-year-old Fayetteville girl who was murdered almost four years ago will spend at least 17 years in prison after pleading guilty Friday to several charges in her death.

Antoinette Nicole Davis, 29, entered Alford pleas to second-degree murder, human trafficking, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree sex offense, felony child abuse with prostitution, child abuse involving a sex act, sexual servitude, indecent liberties with a child and conspiracy to commit sex offense of a child. She was sentenced to between 210 and 261 months in prison.

An Alford plea allows a defendant to plead guilty, while maintaining his or her innocence, because there is sufficient evidence to find him or her guilty. The plea deal, which included the dismissal of a first-degree rape charge, heads off a trial that was scheduled to begin Oct. 28.

Shaniya Davis was reported missing from her Fayetteville home on Nov. 10, 2009. Her body was found six days later in an overgrown field on the Lee-Harnett county line, and an autopsy determined that she had been sexually assaulted and suffocated.

Mario Andrette McNeill, 32, was convicted in May of kidnapping and assaulting Shaniya before killing her, and he was sentenced to death.

Davis apologized to Shaniya's father, Bradley Lockhart, in court Friday, saying she had been too proud to let his family care for their daughter.

"I want to say I did the best I could with my children," she said. "I never said I was a perfect mother, but I was a good mother. I did what I had to provide for them. I did what I had to to make sure they were alright. I didn't have any help from anybody."

Superior Court Judge Jim Ammons tersely disagreed.

"You could have saved your daughter's life, and you did not. You had the time, the opportuity and the means to save Shaniya's life, and you did not," he said. "You are not a good mother. This did not have to happen."

Ammons ordered her to register as a sex offender for 30 years and suggested that she receive psychological counseling in prison.

Defense attorney D.W.Bray said Davis always felt morally responsible for what happened to Shaniya.

Lockhart said he still grieves for his daughter but said he forgave Davis a long time ago and that he knows Shaniya did as well.

"Maybe you can take this time and dig deep within you and help others by sharing your story," he told Davis.

The hastily arranged plea followed a pre-trial motions hearing Friday morning in which Ammons denied an attempt by the defense to keep Davis' statements to police out of her trial.

Bray argued that investigators browbeat Davis over four days of questioning about Shaniya's disappearance, and they never advised her of her rights to remain silent or to confer with an attorney. On the fourth day, he said, she finally "broke."

"I gave her to him to cover $200. He was only supposed to have sex," a sobbing Davis told investigators at the time.

Cumberland County District Attorney Billy West said McNeill previously lent Davis $200 to buy food and pay for a hotel room when she and her children were homeless. Information in an autopsy report claimed the debt to be drug-related, but West said that was incorrect.

Parents of Guadalupe Shaw Created A Monster of Denial

The mother of Guadalupe Shaw stated that she always checked her daughter's Facebook status every time she used it. And yet she never noticed her daughter making constant online bullying and death threats. Especially after it was reported that Rebecca Sedwick's was killed.

The Florida sheriff investigating a girl's suicide allegedly prompted by online bullying said he's considering charging the parents of one of the two girls arrested in the case because they're in "total denial."

Polk Country Sheriff Grady Judd told Fox News Thursday that if evidence indicates the parents of one of the two girls knowingly allowed the girl to post the bullying comments online, they could be charged with contributing to the dependency or delinquency of a child.

The two girls, ages 12 and 14, were identified by police as the main culprits in the bullying they say led to 12-year-old Rebecca Sedwick's suicide. Judd said the 14-year-old girl showed a "total disregard for life" and continued to post comments online after the girl's death.

The family of the 14-year-old girl said her computer account was hacked and that she was not posting anymore. The girl's mother told ABC News that she checked her daughter's Facebook status every time she used it.

Judd, however, has questioned that account.

"You tell me that there's not parents, who instead of taking that device and smashing it into a 1,000 pieces in front of her child, says, 'Oh, her account was hacked?' We see where the problem is," Judd said.

Judd has been criticized by some for his handling of the case. One Tampa Bay defense lawyer told MyFoxTampaBay.com that "he's doing an awful job of pre-judging."

"I don't understand why he can't let the system play out, why he can't let the people who are the lawyers — not the sheriff — investigate the case, look into what's going on here, and then have a judge decide what the appropriate penalty or sentence is, and see about the proper way to handle this in a courtroom," attorney Jeff Brown told the station.

Judd said his office had to step in because the bullying continued and others could have been endangered.

Sedwick was "terrorized" by as many as 15 girls who ganged up on her and picked on her for months through online message boards and texts, authorities said. One of the suspects had been dating Sedwick's former boyfriend. The two had gone to the same school where, at one point, there was a physical confrontation between the girls, authorities said.

The girl who had been dating Sedwick's former boyfriend went to friends around the school and tried to have them turn on Sedwick, Judd said. The girl posted comments on the Internet saying Sedwick should "drink bleach and die," authorities said. The second girl arrested was a former best friend of Sedwick's who was influenced by the other girl to turn on her, authorities said.

Sedwick climbed a tower at an abandoned concrete plant and jumped to her death on Sept. 9, authorities said.

Top 5 (personel) Reasons Pacific Rim Didn’t Do So Good In American Movie Theaters

Overall I love this movie and consider it one of my top 10 movies that I could watch over and over again without getting bored. I saw it on opening weekend at an IMAX theater in 3D with my family whom they were skeptical at first but quickly became loyal followers of the movie.

The movie surprisingly didn't do so good in America and so I came up with my own top 5 reasons why.

5. No kissing (People want to see a romantic scene in movies even if it’s in just one scene. This movie gave us one hug and a lot of adolescent eye contact.)

4. Liberal government shown in a bad way (As soon as the military began having difficulty, the new world government decided to go hide behind walls for protection.

3. The military knows what it’s doing. (They stood their ground with honor. Even the scientist and support workers were united in a patriotic duty to bring a final victory.

2. It’s a monster movie that produces brain cells. (Actual scientific topics that can be discussed seriously in the scientific community)

1. You can win a war using Nuclear weapons. (Those coexist bumper stickers do not work on those who want to kill us.)

Best quote from the movie by Stacker Pentecost: Today... At the edge of our hope, at the end of our time, we have chosen not only to believe in ourselves, but in each other. Today there is not a man nor woman in here that shall stand alone. Not today. Today we face the monsters that are at our door and bring the fight to them. Today, we are cancelling the apocalypse!

Two Murders Arrested For Killing Rebecca Sedwick

Guadalupe Shaw, 14, left, and Katelyn Roman, 12, right,
are charged with stalking in the suicide of 12-year-old Rebecca Sedwick in Florida.
News Articles: Fox News CNN CBS News New York Post

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Two Florida girls who were primarily responsible for bullying a 12-year-old girl who killed herself were arrested after one of them acknowledged the harassment online, a sheriff said Tuesday.

Police in central Florida have been investigating the death of 12-year-old Rebecca Sedwick, who climbed a tower at an abandoned concrete plant Sept. 9 and hurled herself to her death. Authorities said as many as 15 girls may have bullied Rebecca and the investigation was continuing.

Rebecca Sedwick 12 years old
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd speaks to reporters about the case. At right, an exhibit shows messages one of the teens charged in the suicide allegedly made on Facebook after Rebecca’s death.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said the arrests of the girls, ages 14 and 12, were hastened when the older girl posted Saturday on Facebook, saying she bullied Rebecca but she didn’t care.

Authorities identified the girls as 12-year-old Katelyn Roman and 14-year-old Guadalupe Shaw, according to Channel 10 News in Tampa Bay.

News 10 quoted Judd as saying Shaw posted to Facebook Saturday that “Yes ik [I know] I bullied REBECCA nd she killed her self but IDGAF [I don't give a f---].” Shaw claimed to deputies that her account was hacked and she did not write that post, the news station reported.

“We decided that we can’t leave her out there. Who else is she going to torment, who else is she going to harass?” Judd said.

Shaw was accused of threatening to beat up Rebecca while they were sixth-graders at Crystal Lake Middle School, telling her “to drink bleach and die” and saying she should kill herself, the sheriff said. Shaw convinced Roman to bully Rebecca, and they both repeatedly intimidated her, called her names and once the younger girl even beat Rebecca up, police said.

Both girls were charged as juveniles with third-degree felony aggravated stalking. If convicted, it’s not clear how much time, if any at all, the girls would spend in juvenile detention because they did not have any previous criminal history, the sheriff said.

“Time may not be the best trainer here. We’ve got the change this behavior of these children,” Judd said.

Judd said the bullying began after the Shaw started dating a boy Rebecca had been seeing. Shaw didn’t like that and “began to harass and ultimately torment Rebecca,” Judd said.

A man who answered the phone at Shaw’s Lakeland home said he was her father and told The Associated Press “none of it’s true.”

“My daughter’s a good girl and I’m 100 percent sure that whatever they’re saying about my daughter is not true,” he said.

At the mobile home, a barking pit bull stood guard and no one came outside despite shouts from reporters for an interview.

Neighbor George Colom said he had never interacted personally with girl but noticed her playing roughly with other children on the street.

“Kids getting beat up, kids crying,” Colom said. “The kids hang loose unsupervised all the time.”

A telephone message left at Roman’s home was not immediately returned and no one answered the door to her home.

The girls were arrested Monday night and released to their parents’ custody. Judd said the Shaw was “very cold, had no emotion at all upon her arrest.”

The girls remain on home detention.

Roman was Rebecca’s former best friend, but the sheriff said Shaw turned her and others against Rebecca, out of fear they would be bullied, too.

Before her death, Rebecca changed one of her online screen names to “That Dead Girl” and she messaged a boy in North Carolina: “I’m jumping.” Detectives found some of her diaries at her home, and she talked of how depressed she was about the situation.

Last December, Rebecca was hospitalized for three days after cutting her wrists because of what she said was bullying, according to the sheriff. Later, after Rebecca complained that she had been pushed in the hallway and that another girl wanted to fight her, Rebecca’s mother began home-schooling her in Lakeland, a city of about 100,000 midway between Tampa and Orlando, Judd said.

This fall, Rebecca started at a new school, Lawton Chiles Middle Academy, but the bullying continued online, authorities said.

Judd said he was upset the girls who were arrested still had access to social networks, even after Rebecca’s suicide.

“If we can find any charges we can bring against their parents, we will,” Judd said.

UNC Football To Play New Rival Team

With the bad press and the terrible football season for UNC there is a bright side to the greatness of the UNC legacy. There are still lots of teams willing to challenge the UNC football team to exhibition games. These teams feel that they are as good if not greater than one of the best teams in college football.

We could have one of the greatest games ever played in North Carolina once the Consolidated Football Federation has announced the winning team of this year’s Pee Wee Football Championship game. This will give the UNC football program better odds at losing a game by single digits instead of the usual 20+ differences.

Even though a player for UNC may be arrested for driving without a license, having illegal drugs and a gun while in a felon’s car, that doesn't mean that they're all bad roll models. Yes a few players have broken multiple UNC and NCAA rules and regulations as well as multiple North Carolina state laws. But they still have a right to an education; even though some former students still can't read or write. For that matter certain class credits have been taken away from students due to a fraudulent teacher who was teaching nonexistent classes.

But UNC as a whole has a commitment of a higher standard that is not being reported in the media. To raise tuition rates and other fees to cover multiple lawsuits from former players, students and teachers. To pay out huge settlements to former coaches and administrators who were scapegoated out of the University. Paying heavy fines for all the violation the students, staff and University officials broke.

But most of all, UNC is committed to help the new incoming University Chancellor in receiving a huge pay raise as former Chancellor HoldenThorp was making about $420,000 a year. Yes UNC is everything one can expect from a public school system that receives tax payer’s money to help run the school. And with a new $810 million bond that recently passes, things are looking brighter for UNC's future.

Beavers used as Vanilla Flavoring

Story link
Next time you pick up a vanilla candy, think twice. A chemical compound used in vanilla flavored foods and scents comes from the butt of a beaver.

Castoreum comes from a beaver's castor sacs, located between the pelvis and base of the tail. Due to its proximity to the anal glands, the slimy brown substance is often mixed with gland secretions and urine.

"I lift up the animal's tail," Joanne Crawford, a wildlife ecologist at Southern Illinois University told National Geographic. "I’m like, 'Get down there, and stick your nose near its bum.'"

"People think I'm nuts," she added. "I tell them, 'Oh, but it's beavers; it smells really good.'"

Beavers use the brown slime, often compared to a thinner version of molasses, to mark their territory. The musky, vanilla scent is attributed to a beaver's diet of bark and leaves.

Manufacture have been using castoreum as an additive in foods and perfumes for at least 80 years, according to a 2007 study in the International Journal of Toxicology.

But getting a beaver to emit castoreum is not easy. Foodies are willing to "milk" the animals in order to get their hands on the gooey substance.

"You can milk the anal glands so you can extract the fluid," Crawford said. "You can squirt [castoreum] out. It's pretty gross."

Only 292-pounds per year is collected because the milking method is unpleasant for all parties involved.

And the worst part? The FDA-approved castoreum is not required to be listed as an ingredient on food items. Manufacturers may list "natural flavoring" instead.

Perhaps a bit too natural for us.

Best Joke EVER!!!!!!!

Deadpool on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?

Who wouldn't want an insane, psychopathic and hysterically twisted hired killer to be on S.H.I.E.L.D.?
Caught and captured, Deadpool lends his services to S.H.I.E.L.D. in hopes of getting a
reduced sentence. The word play between Deadpool and Coulson could be awesome, as could
the bizarre style in which Deadpool captures S.H.I.E.L.D. targets. In the end Deadpool escapes,
leading to constant appearances throughout the show, usually at the worst time possible. Story link

Real Reason America Goes To War

A Washington think tank has announced a breakthrough in the search for a pattern in US military activities since World War II that might predict what the future missions of the US will be in the post-Cold War world.

"We think they are spelling out a message," explained an unnamed spokesperson. "Just look at the places where the US has fought: Korea, Vietnam, Libya, Iraq, Iran, El Salvador, Grenada, Nicaragua and Somalia.

If you rearrange the first letters of those countries, it spells 'ELVIS _S KING.'  We just need to find another 'I' country to complete the message."

So who's next, Italy, India, Ireland, Indonesia . . . ?
