Pepsi Santa
I saw this display at Walmart in Zebulon, North Carolina. The picture is a little bit blurry due to the fact people were lining up to take pictures with them and/or their kids in front of the display. By the time I took this photo with my phone camera, a bunch of kids behind me ran up to pose for their parents.

Dr. Wham
There has been many new drinks that have come out over the years. Some are gone in a months time. When I started working with Pepsi, they had just came out with Pepsi Blue. Ans within a short time they stopped selling it. Pepsi Jazz was another flavor that ended before it began.
This time Pepsi has a winner on it's hand and we have yet to fully start selling it in the Raleigh Durham area of North Carolina. With new drinks coming out our breakroom with have it in all their drink machines so all the employees can have a chance to taste test it before it is sold out in the market area. All the employees are drinking Dr. Wham to the point that it is selling out before the day is over. Pepsi employee are buying this new drink than all other drinks combined.
Dr. Wham taste just like a Dr. Pepper in many ways. Some say its better while others say that its a little weaker but a true hit among all the employees. When it finally goes on sale in the Raleigh Durham area looks to be a major hit for Pepsi.
Now if we can just carry Pepsi Cucumber in this area.

How Was Your Day?
Does anyone what to know how my day went? I was working
towards having an easy day servicing the grocery stores as the rest of mankind
was at the mall and department stores. And so on this day, Murphy's Law reared its
ugly head and made me its whipping boy.
The whole endcap section collapsed. Completely full of 1.5 Pepsi bottles and 18 pack can drinks on the front shelves. The side sections held Cheez-It's and store brand chips. It took eight(8) shopping carts to carry everything to the backroom for me to clean up. Including mopping the sales floor and the trail of soda leading to the backroom.

Japanese Pepsi Commercial
In Japan the product is called NEX but in America we call it NEXT. Either way I love the animation.

Pepsi Nex - Coming to USA
I've been told the Pepsi Nex is coming to our Raleigh Durham area sometime next year. Just in time for the TV show Tiger and Bunny to begin broadcasting in America.

DUI on a Pepsi
There is nothing like a new product on the market that gets you in trouble with the police; without even trying. With the new bottle design that was meant to look like the old bottle design has been creating a different effect. While taking a break during the day, sitting in the company truck, listening to the radio to catch up on the latest sporting news, a very surprised police approached the vehicle asking what kind of beverage was being consumed. The officer was presented with a Pepsi Max as he expressed relief saying that the Pepsi Max bottle looks just like a beer bottle from a distance.

Treasure Hunting
After a long period of constant working, I was able to spend more time with my family. So after many hours of playing on the trampoline, I suggested a less exhausting way to play. Little did I know it was going to cause more work for me later on. Behind our house were only a few trees and a tobacco barn. But over the years the trees covered the landscape into a small forest and the tobacco barn has collapsed into a pancake size nursery of small tree poking through what’s left of the roof structure with old farm equipment sprinkled about the area.
As we journeyed through the woods while dodging briers and fallen trees we discovered a graveyard of empty glass bottles. Many were is great condition but a few had the labels pretty much worn away over years of being exposed to the elements. A few of them were of the old Pepsi and Coke glass bottles the still had some of the original soda still inside. Which has led to more work for me during the winter season?
At the advice of my wife, who wants me to clear out a few areas where the boys can move around the woods without hurting themselves. I nearly laughed in her face. Mainly because I grew up in this area and I along with every other kid have explored these woods without having our parents clear out safety paths, cut all the grass and chased out every small animal and bugs from the area. But being the loving husband and guiding father I promised I’ll do it. Keep the wife happy means less arguments and more brownie points for me. I can’t wait to show them the snake filled lake further inside the forest.

Pepsi in Glass Bottles
I was in a grocery store called Farmer Foods in Louisburg, North Carolina today and as I was walking down on of the isles I notices something I haven't seen in this country since I was in my 20's. Coca Cola still carries Coke but in the small 12 ounce bottles in a very limited supply and area but overall since all soda companies started using plastic bottles instead of glass, the taste is noticeable different. I bought a couple of glass bottles of Pepsi and it was the best I've had in a lot time.

十代 若かりし頃 teenage years
.jpg)
