Go-onger shirts

The boys discovered Power Rangers but more importantly they like the Japanese version better than the American version. They have already seen all the episodes of Engine Sentai Go-onger and have started watching Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. Which leads to the begging for the toys as well.

Killer Rabbit

Today is Presidents Day and there are a lot of stories about all the U.S. Presidents. The one that stands out as the funniest is the one where President Carter was attacked by a rabbit.

This is an exact copy of a church email I received today.



Look at the picture above and you can see where this driver broke through the guardrail, on the right side of the culvert, where the people are standing on the road, pointing. The pick-up was traveling about 75 mph from right to left when it crashed through the guardrail. It flipped end-over-end, bounced off and across the culvert outlet and landed right side up on the left side of the culvert, facing the opposite direction from which the driver was traveling. The 22-year-old driver and his 18-year-old passenger were unhurt except for minor cuts and bruises.

A few Okinawan pictures

It has been a while sense we have been back to visit my wifes birth place of Okinawa (Ryukyu). So I looked through a few web sites and collected several pictures of Naha and the surrounding areas. A special thanks to all the web sites I visited.

Jo-Jo goes to the Hospital

Our youngest son had a lot of dental work so the Dentist suggested going to Wake Med Hospital to do all the dental work in one day. He was the happiest little boy when we got there. He watched TV on my new Sprint touch screen cell phone and played with a lot of toys. As his surgery started we both went and got something to eat and later my wife took a nap in the waiting room while a watched tv on my cell phone and took pictures of my wife sleeping.

Then it happened. After the surgery he was resting as the anesthesia was wearing off, the hospital staff wanted us to quickly get him dressed and ready to leave. Everything from then on went down hill and sonic speed. He was awakened and as I held him down my wife struggled to dress him as he was screaming, kicking, hitting at my wife and me.

All the while the nursing staff played cheerleaders by repeating hospital lingos over and over again. "It's time to go home." "Call if any problems occur" "Have a nice day." While I went to get the van, Jo-Jo was using his mother's head as a punching bag. Even at one point I thought he broke my nose but thats nothing to what my wife looked like by the time we got home.

An hour later he was the sweetest little boy again. Everytime he saw his mother he kept apologizing for what he did. An extra hour at the hospital would have been a lot more better for all of us. Something Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh, NC should think about.

Japanese Weight Loss?

When I showed this to my wife, she almost laughed herself to death. Apparently in the article one can loss a lot of weight through the new Japanese diet by eating banana's and American style foods. Nothing about eating rice and Miso soup. Later my wife thought this was a sick joke but it is not.

School Awards Day

Our boys school had awards day at school with each one of them getting an award.

New Cell Phone

I upgraded my cell phone today to the new Samsung Instinct touch screen. My wife loves the new phone more than I do. I can watch TV and listen to the radio, surf the net with my favorite being able to use an Micro SD card to watch movies, tv shows and music video on the phone.I just have to read the very thick book on how I'm going to do all this stuff.

Super Bowl delivery

One of the stores I service ran out of 2 liter Pepsi on the day of the Super Bowl. I carried to the store 200 bottles which by the time the game started had all been sold.

A friend of ours sent us the new Ultraman movie that came out on DVD in Japan. My youngest son totally loves this movie. He has most of the movie memorized. He already have a dvd set of the 1st Ultraman plus a few other movies.
