A Cure For All Forms Of Cancer?

Alright, it doesn’t look so simple from the above image, but on 25 January, Tottori University announced that researchers have found a method to successfully transform a cancerous tumor into non-threatening tissue. Although the research that went into it is incredibly complicated, the result is a single molecule that may be able to universally reverse cancerous cells in a relatively brief amount of time.

The announcement doesn’t hold back its enthusiasm either, proclaiming that from this discovery “the dream of the eradication of cancer is at hand.”

RNA
The bulk of this research centers on RNA. There are different types of RNA, such as messenger RNA molecules which work to send information from an organism’s DNA to the ribosomes which begin to create proteins for specialized cell production.

Also in the mix are microRNA molecules. The smaller strands connect with messenger RNA and can inhibit the production of proteins. This helps to regulate the growth of cells in our body. However, microRNA when working in a different way can also interfere with a cell’s natural destruction potentially leading to cancerous tumors.

The exact way this happens is very complex and the challenge for cancer researchers is finding which type(s) of microRNA triggers or impedes the development of cancers.

microRNA-520d
The work done at Tottori University focused on Human microRNA-520d (miR-520d) about which not a whole lot is known. Still, they suspected that it held the power to control whether cells were cancerous or not.

In various mice experiments, it was found that miR-520d indeed transformed their cancer cells in either regular tissue cells or benign tumors completely. Not only that; for undifferentiated liver cancer the transformation only took 12 hours. More complex cancers were said to take up to a month to be converted into non-cancerous matter.

Chart showing results of miR-520d versus a mock injection, 520d led to a combination of non-cancerous cells whereas the mock substance resulted in 100 percent cancer development

Experiments were also carried out on pancreatic cancer cells, brain tumors, and malignant melanoma cells. All of which were easily eliminated. The team feels confident that by the correct introduction of miR-520d all cancers can be reversed. They also feel the simplicity of such a treatment would alleviate the mental anguish of possible relapses that cancer survivors must live with.

Reaction
Netizens were full of emotions at this announcement calling it “historical” and “an amazing feat of medical technology.” Others remained skeptical saying: “I’ll wait until the announcement of a it actually being used.” And of course it wouldn’t be the internet without some smartass comments such as: “Oh no, more elderly people!” and, “I hope this doesn’t raise my age of retirement.”

It’s still early days, but if these results can occur in humans without any serious negative effects, miR-520d could be a remarkable game-changer for the world.

How To Gain Weight While Losing Fat

A few months ago I was diagnosed with gout. Very painful that I wouldn't wish it on people I might not like or even hate. My doctor at Duke Medical in Knightdale, North Carolina prescribed Zyloprim and Indocin to remove the buildup of uric acid from my system. By that night I could actually sleep without screaming in pain.

My follow-up appointment was in two weeks. Until then he asked me to drink only water. This way the water with the combination of the medicine could quickly flush out all the extra buildup of uric acid from my system. It was the most difficult two weeks of my life.

When I had to pee, it felt like one of the Great Lakes was making its way into the toilet bowl. Plus for the first week I had to deal with the daily volcanic eruptions taking place in my belly. It would give the impression to people all around me to believe that Godzilla was nearby as my butt cheeks were very well clamped hard together.

By my next doctor’s appointment all was well. That is until I noticed my weight. Earlier this year I had my physical and with my weight recorded from two weeks earlier I noticed that I was gaining weight. Yet my clothes were getting looser and I was starting to use another notch on my belt to keep my pants from falling down. I had also cut down on if not completely out of drinking sugary drinks and eating foods with high fructose corn syrup in it.

I mentioned this to my doctor who told me that my muscle growth was increasing as my fat cells were decreasing. If I keep drinking water and watching the types of foods that I eat then not only will I not get gout again but I will have a more muscular built as my fat cells will be more in-line to my body structure.

He did mention that I should continue to get plenty of exercise each day. And I have noticed that for the past two weeks that I have a lot more energy than before. So when it comes to getting plenty of exercise, I try to get plenty of it. But my wife is starting to hate it for I keep waking her up every night to “exercise”. Hey, that’s over a few hundred calories a session and a lot better and cheaper than going to the gym and a lot more fun at that.

Unexpectant Enema

After my doctor told me to give up soda drinks, I looked around to find something else to quench my thirst, so to speak. One day I tried coconut water with pineapple. I bought 2 of them and gave it a try. The taste took some getting used to but I drank both of them. But in a few hours my body was hurting.

The kind of hurt were my butt cheeks locked up as my stomach was growling very loud. Luckily I made it to the bathroom in between the convulsions to prepare for the worse. And what happened next scared it all out of me. I’m in position with a strong urge to push. So much liquid was firing out of my butt that I thought that I was drilling a hole through the toilet.

It was a good thing I was sitting down because I was tired. It felt like a lost a few pounds and from what was in the toilet told me that my intestines and colon was pressured washed from the inside. If you try this; good luck.

Heel Spur

It feels like I am walking on a nail. At times I can live with it as the remaining 23 hours of the day I am fighting the urge to take a chain saw to remove the foot. So far my doctor has giving me a prescription for Motrin which puts me to sleep. At first he put me on light duty for two weeks. That means still doing the same job, same hours but with half the pay.

Other relatives have me drinking a cup of hot water with a tablespoon of pure cinnamon and two tablespoons of honey. Every time I fart, my wife and kids get hungry for Christmas candies. Even in great pain there is joy to be found.

Cholesterol Test Results

When I received my test results from my doctor, I knew that I had to change my diet. I already get plenty of exercise from my job. Whether it's from cutting down the sugar intake or the home remedy of a cup hot water with cinnamon and honey has led me to losing 5 pounds in the first few weeks.

I did learn one thing from reading the ingredient labels. Chocolate milk and candies are primarily sweetened using high fructose corn syrup (corn base product). An ingredient my doctor told me to avoid using, if possible, if I wanted to stay healthy and not become a diabetic.

Below is my test results to share and hopefully inspire other to get tested as well.

Semen Has Benefits For Women

A friend of mine told me about this article which I want to share.

This is the story of  Dr. Lazar Greenfield - a renowned surgeon who devised a filter used in surgery to reduce the likelihood of blood clots; who went on to become chief of surgery at the University of Michigan, lead editor of Surgery News, and president-elect of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). He got into hot water with the "thought police" for publishing a light-hearted editorial regarding St. Valentine's Day in the February, 2011, issue of the journal he edited.

But what he wrote was some wonderful scientific information for understanding God's creation of men and women.

Semen Has Benefits For Women
By Jim Stephens

Here is the section of the article that Dr. Greenfield wrote which was so offensive and got him kicked out.

"As far as humans are concerned, you may think you know all about sexual signals, but you'd be surprised by new findings. It's been known since the 1990s that heterosexual women living together synchronize their menstrual cycles because of pheromones, but when a study of lesbians showed that they do not synchronize, the researchers suspected that semen played a role.

In fact, they found ingredients in semen that include mood enhancers like estrone, cortisol, prolactin, oxytocin, and serotonin; a sleep enhancer, melatonin; and of course, sperm, which makes up only 1%-5%.

Delivering these compounds into the richly vascularized (i.e. many blood vessels) vagina also turns out to have major salutary (i.e. beneficial) effects for the recipient.

Female college students having unprotected sex were significantly less depressed than were those whose partners used condoms. Their better moods were not just a feature of promiscuity, because women using condoms were just as depressed as those practicing total abstinence. The benefits of semen contact also were seen in fewer suicide attempts and better performance on cognition tests."

See the footnotes for one of the Abstracts of the research.

But think about it my friends. A man's semen contains many mood enhancers and sleep enhancers, besides the sperm. God has created our bodies to share chemicals with our spouses in beneficial ways physically. Just like a loving relationship is good for us emotionally and spiritually, it turns out it is good for our health as well.

Scientists have known this for a long time, but maybe it was kept from you. Now you know and will hopefully spread the word.

Abstract at US National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health. Does semen have antidepressant properties? by Gallup GG Jr, Burch RL, Platek SM. Department of Psychology, State University of New York at Albany, Albany, New York, USA

Abstract
In a sample of sexually active college females, condom use, as an indirect measure of the presence of semen in the reproductive tract, was related to scores on the Beck Depression Inventory. Not only were females who were having sex without condoms less depressed, but depressive symptoms and suicide attempts among females who used condoms were proportional to the consistency of condom use. For females who did not use condoms, depression scores went up as the amount of time since their last sexual encounter increased. These data are consistent with the possibility that semen may antagonize depressive symptoms and evidence which shows that the vagina absorbs a number of components of semen that can be detected in the bloodstream within a few hours of administration.
