Pacific Rim Power Rangers

I am more a Super Sentai fan than a Power Ranger fan. But I really love the movie Pacific Rim so when I saw these videos I loved it. Even though the Power Ranger shows have kept the same opening theme music for 20 years now limits the music diversity that the Super Sentai shows have. Can you imagine listening to over 20 Power Rangers shows all sounding completely the same whereas each Super Sentai show has their own musical theme song. .

Pacific Rim Music Video

I took the movie Pacific Rim and joined it with the song Revolution by the Japanese group VAMPS.
The lead singer is also the lead singer for the Japanese group L'arc en ceil.
Enjoy the video until the Vietnamese website takes it down due to copyright issues.

Top 5 (personel) Reasons Pacific Rim Didn’t Do So Good In American Movie Theaters

Overall I love this movie and consider it one of my top 10 movies that I could watch over and over again without getting bored. I saw it on opening weekend at an IMAX theater in 3D with my family whom they were skeptical at first but quickly became loyal followers of the movie.

The movie surprisingly didn't do so good in America and so I came up with my own top 5 reasons why.

5. No kissing (People want to see a romantic scene in movies even if it’s in just one scene. This movie gave us one hug and a lot of adolescent eye contact.)

4. Liberal government shown in a bad way (As soon as the military began having difficulty, the new world government decided to go hide behind walls for protection.

3. The military knows what it’s doing. (They stood their ground with honor. Even the scientist and support workers were united in a patriotic duty to bring a final victory.

2. It’s a monster movie that produces brain cells. (Actual scientific topics that can be discussed seriously in the scientific community)

1. You can win a war using Nuclear weapons. (Those coexist bumper stickers do not work on those who want to kill us.)

Best quote from the movie by Stacker Pentecost: Today... At the edge of our hope, at the end of our time, we have chosen not only to believe in ourselves, but in each other. Today there is not a man nor woman in here that shall stand alone. Not today. Today we face the monsters that are at our door and bring the fight to them. Today, we are cancelling the apocalypse!

Pacific Rim 2nd Trailer

I know how I'm going to celebrate my birthday. This movie has all the makings of a blockbuster hit; giant monsters and robots, action fighting scenes, scifi action and lots of giant monsters. Every Saturday I watched lots of Godzilla movies. Hollywood has finally got everything right with this monster movie to have it recognized as an equal if not better than all the Japanese monster movies relating to Godzilla, Mothra and Gamera.

Pacific Rim (movie)

When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, start rising from the sea, a war begins that takes millions of lives and consumes humanity's resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon is devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers prove nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju.

On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes - a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi) - who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.

Pacific Rim premieres July 12th, 2013.
