My mother passed away last month and so I went to look around the house I grew up in and check out my old room. I still had posters of women in tiny bikini's like Samantha Fox's fishnet swimsuit hanging on the wall, old toys, cassettes of 70's and 80's music. As well as a few (dozen) magazines
hidden under the mattress. Very good days indeed.

きわどいビキニの女の子、フィッシュネット(網)水着を身に着けたサマンサ・フォックスのポスターが壁にそのままで、古い玩具、70年代80年代のミュージックテープ、上手い具合にマットレスの下に隠してそのままになった数冊(あるいは12～3冊)の雑誌。いい思い出だ。
One of those music cassettes was from a group called 'Queensryche'. I remember watching MTV one morning while getting ready for work. The video was 'Jet City Woman' from their album 'Empire'. and by that evening I had gone out and bought the cassette. Pretty good music to listen to when you are doing some
reading in bed.
見つけたいくつかのミュージックテープのうちの一つが『Queensryche』と呼ばれるグループのだった。ある朝、仕事に行く身支度の間にMTVで見ていたのをよく覚えてる。ビデオは彼らのアルバム『Empire』の中の『Jet City Woman』。その日の夕刻にミュージックテープを買いに行った。ベッドで読み物をしながら聴くにはなかなかイイ音楽だ。
