Dish Network Doesn't Get It

My family and I have been facing multiple channel loses with Dish Network. Turner Broadcasting channels  lasted for a month as two boys reminded me everyday for they couldn't watch Pokemon on TV and on the Cartoon Network site. Now we are dealing with the loss of Fox News and two local channels in the Raleigh, North Carolina area; WRAL TV (CBS) and WRAZ TV (FOX).

I listened to both sides of their arguments as well as from other sources that were more accurate. Bottom line I wasn't too much on Dish Networks side. So I sent an email about my loss of channels to Dish Network. What I got was insulting and rude for a customer to get.

First my email to Dish Network

I was wondering if I will be paying less due to the multiple channel loses I have been experiencing? Recently I lost Turner broadcasting for a month, I do not have Fox News plus two local channels in the Raleigh/Durham area now. Will Dish Network repay me for having to buy an HD antenna so I could watch my local channels that I expected from your company? After all you are my TV provider.

Recently I have not been provided with the channels I was promised. And as your top boss Charlie Ergen stated in his Christmas messaged, sounded like he didn't care if I got those channels back. In closing, I am your customer who would like to have my favorite channels returned or have a reduced bill. I am not satisfied with my service as many of my missing channels are being outsourced at my own expense. Stop with the lawyer talk, man-up and take responsibility and better care of your customers.

My reply from Dish Network was this

Dear DISH Customer,

Thank you for your email. Our contract with 21st Century Fox (Fox), the owner of Fox News and Fox Business, has expired and FOX has removed these channels from the DISH lineup.

Fox is attempting to leverage Fox News and Fox Business for increases in the rates we pay for other channels not included in this contract. In order to minimize the impact of these negotiations for you, our customer, DISH offered to extend the terms of the current contract with Fox while we continue to negotiate. However, Fox refused.

That said, we've had a productive relationship with Fox for many years and are confident that we can reach an agreement to restore these channels soon. We've reached agreements with many highly rated channel owners in the last year including with The Walt Disney Company, NBC Universal, and CBS Corporation.

We greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a valued DISH customer. Please visit HYPERLINK "http://www.dishisonyourside.com/"www.DISHStandsForYou.com for updates on the situation.

Sincerely,
DISH

Instead of answering any of my questions they copied and pasted the same response from the multiple times they dropped a channel due to contract negotiations. Simply changing the name of the channel in question. I get the feeling I could have sent an email to them saying 'Do you like a fox or a hound?' and I would still received the same email from Dish Network. Simply because it had the word fox in the sentence.

I would switch providers in a heart beat but I just upgraded and would face a termination fee. Financially I have to ride out these multiple channel losses until then. At which point I will do so.

If I am such a valued Dish Network customer then how come I don't feel it from them? I'm getting emails from the lawyers that work for Dish Network but not from the department of Dish Network that services their customers. Or are they one in the same?
