Natsu-Matsuri Festival

Here are a few pictures from the Festival held in Raleigh near Pullen Park by NC State University on July 11Th. A lot of people turned out for the event but I must say that me and my 2 boys stood out a bit wearing Go-Onger t-shirts while everyone else was a bit more casually.

All in all it was a great event from the Raleigh Japanese Center overlooking the downtown Raleigh high rise. We would have stayed until the closing of the event but the boys built-in patience timer went off which resulted in them wanting to do a marathon race around the entire event while screaming out the others name. Not that they were the only ones doing it. Matter of fact, nearly all the kids were and for that everyone from newborns to great grandparent were having a great time. The whole event felt like a huge family reunion.
